L.A. Women, The Doors
The brief asks to produce an Album Cover with freedom to express our interpretation of the music through packaging. The front cover symbolises Jim Morrison (lead vocalist) and the iconic ‘L.A. Women’. While Jim sings about women throughout the album, he metaphorically perceives LA as a women. This cover serves as a visual representation of Jim’s profound connection to LA. The swoosh effect on the back cover is to complement the interconnected theme on the front. The choice of fire is deliberate, echoing Jim’s lyrics.
